EZPay Financial Services Inc. of Chehalis, Wash., is offering a remote check-printing service for small businesses that use Intuit Inc.'s QuickBooks accounting software.
The Small Business Solutions service will help small and mid-size businesses manager their check payments, EZPay said Thursday.
The vast majority of business-to-business payments are made by check, largely because the companies involved say they need the paper invoices to keep track of payments.
The service lets QuickBooks users automate some of that process by sending payment information electronically to EZPay, which will produce and mail paper checks.
The new service costs $9.95 for 15 checks a month or $29.95 for 50 checks a month. It is aimed at "small and medium-sized businesses that have been traditionally unwilling to take advantage of electronic payments," Ronald Ehli, EZPay's chief executive, said in a press release.
