Fair Isaac Corp. has hired Mark Greene, a 12-year veteran of International Business Machines Corp., as its chief executive.
He will succeed Charles Osborne, who will remain the Minneapolis technology company's chief financial officer. Mr. Osborne became the interim CEO in November, when Thomas Grudnowski resigned.
Most recently Mr. Greene was IBM's vice president of sales and distribution for financial services.
"Through my work in the banking and insurance industries, I'm very familiar with Fair Isaac and its remarkable role in the growth of global financial markets," he said in a press release Wednesday. "I'm confident that we will have an even greater impact on how businesses in many industries make decisions in the future."
