Foundation Source, a provider of support services to private foundations, said Tuesday that it has agreed with Allen Trust Co. in Portland, Ore., to provide technology and services for administering private foundations.
Allen Trust is a full-service trust company with offices in Portland and southwest Washington. The company's clients who have private foundations, as well as those wishing to start one, now have access to Foundation Source's support services.
The trust company's investment management, trust administration, and charitable services complement Foundation Source's offerings, the Fairfield, Conn., company said.
Foundation Source serves more than 425 private foundations that collectively administer $1.3 billion of assets. The company works in partnership with law firms and about 60 financial institutions. It has regional offices in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Palm Beach, Fla.
