BROOKFIELD, Wis. Fiserv Inc. said Friday that it will provide processing software to Cigna Bank and Trust, a federally chartered thrift being started by Cigna Corp.
The new bank will offer deposit products to expand Cignas menu of planning options for participants in its retirement plans.
Fiserv will supply the bank with its Information Technology Inc. core processing system and its PremierEcom Internet banking engine, check processing, automated teller machine driving, plastic card production and mailing, loan origination software, and credit card processing.
The contract advances Fiservs goal of giving newly formed banks the products and services they need to support traditional and electronic commerce channels.
