GE Insurance Solutions in Kansas City, Mo., said Tuesday that Tim Madden had joined the company as the leader of its North American brokered reinsurance business.
Mr. Madden is to work from the company's Barrington, Ill., office. He most recently was a managing partner at IAT Reinsurance Group, where he had a key role in the start-up of the business and was responsible for managing its relationships with reinsurance brokers.
Before helping found IAT Re, Mr. Madden held management, underwriting, and marketing posts at reinsurers such as Mutual Reinsurance Bureau, CNA, Kemper, and Allstate.
