ST. LOUIS, Mo. - MetLife Inc.'s GenAmerica Financial Corp. has appointed Edward D. "Mont" Little as chief information officer and a senior vice president.

He will also head the company's individual business information technology division. Mr. Little succeeded Randy Poppell in both jobs; he resigned last month.

The appointment was announced Friday.
