In Brief: Georgia's CNB Now First Capital

CNB Holding Inc. of Norcross, Ga., has officially changed its name to First Capital Bancorp Inc. and said it plans to be listed on the Nasdaq exchange soon.

The $655 million-asset company merged its Chattahoochee National Bank and First Capital Bank two months ago. CNB had acquired the much larger First Capital and its holding company, First Capital Bancorp, in May for $33 million.

CNB said it has submitted an application for the Nasdaq listing and expects to get it and a new ticker symbol in February.
