Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. has put Glenn Lammey, a former chief financial officer of Travelers Life and Annuity Co., in the same job at its own life insurance unit.

Citigroup Inc. sold Travelers Life in mid-2005 to MetLife Inc.
Mr. Lammey, who was also a senior executive vice president at Travelers, is now an executive vice president at Hartford Life. His hiring was announced Thursday.
He succeeded Lizabeth Zlatkus, who was recently named the president of Hartford Financial’s international wealth management and group benefits units.
