Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said Thursday that its life operation has created two business groups - U.S. wealth management and international wealth management and group benefits - and appointed a president for each.
John Walters was named president of U.S. wealth management, which comprises the company's investment products and individual life divisions and Woodbury Financial Services, its affiliated broker-dealer. He formerly was the executive vice president of investment products.
Lizabeth Zlatkus was appointed president of international wealth management and group benefits. She will remain Hartford Life's chief financial officer until a successor is named.
The two business groups will report to Hartford Life president and chief operating officer Tom Marra.
