International Merchant Services Inc., a Westmont, Ill., independent sales organization, has agreed to use First Data Corp.'s merchant services unit to offer back-office payment processing and point-of-sale equipment leasing services to merchant clients.
"First Data provides the merchant processing solutions we need to continue to grow and the flexibility to do so at a fast pace," Chris Kazor, the owner and chief executive officer of IMS, said in a press release Thursday.
IMS markets payments services and equipment to retailers, mail order companies, telephone order firms, and e-commerce businesses.
