ING Investment Management announced Thursday that it had hired Vincent Costa to be a senior vice president and its head of portfolio management for quantitative equity.
In this role, Mr. Costa, who was hired from Merrill Lynch Investment Management, will lead the portfolio management and client relations functions for ING Investment Management's quantitative equity portfolios and report to Omar Aguilar, the head of quantitative equity.
At Merrill Mr. Costa worked the last seven years in senior quantitative equity posts, most recently as a managing director and head of quantitative investments. In that role, he oversaw $60 billion of assets for institutional and retail clients.
ING Group NV is a global financial institution based in the Netherlands that has 60 million customers - including 14 million in the United States - for its banking, insurance, and asset management services.
