BroadVision Inc., a provider of on-line relationship management and personalization technology, has allied itself with Ernst & Young LLP to develop electronic commerce capabilities.

Ernst & Young partner Kevin Fleming said, "We see the use of e-commerce growing exponentially in corporate banking and retail banking organizations," emphasizing "customer relationship management, revenue generation, and efficiency. Our goal is to help our clients realize the potential returns of implementing e-commerce solutions."

The alliance combines Ernst & Young's financial services experience and software development, implementation, and integration capabilities with BroadVision's one-to-one marketing applications.

Their programs are to run on Sun Microsystems Inc. platforms.
