Invest Financial Corp. said Friday that it had hired Richard J. Koll to be a senior vice president of business development.
The Tampa investment management unit of National Planning Holdings Inc. said Mr. Koll, 41, will oversee the marketing of Invest's business capabilities to representatives and financial institutions nationally. He is based in Central Valley, N.Y.
Mr. Koll was a senior vice president of marketing and business development at Independent Financial Marketing Group Inc., where he was responsible for developing business throughout the United States. He previously was president of IFMG Securities Inc., the company's retail broker-dealer and registered investment adviser. He has also held senior management posts at the former Citicorp, Bankers Trust, and EQ Financial Services.
National Planning Holdings is a broker-dealer affiliate of Jackson National Life Insurance Co., a unit of London's Prudential PLC.
