American Bank and Trust Co. of Davenport, Iowa, agreed to outsource its core processing work to Metavante Corp. of Milwaukee.

The technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. announced last week that the $570 million-asset American Bank would use its Integrated Banking Solution software.
Metavante also said it will provide American Bank with item processing, debit services, check imaging, and other payments functions.
American Bank, which has a dozen branches, in eastern Iowa and northern Illinois, said the software would help it expand.
