INDIANAPOLIS - Irwin Mortgage Corp. has hired Perry G. Hines as a senior vice president and the chief marketing officer.
The Irwin Financial Corp. unit said Friday that Mr. Hines will help develop consumer-directed marketing approaches to mortgage lending. He will report to Robert H. Griffith, the president and chief executive officer of Irwin Mortgage.
Mr. Hines was a senior vice president for sales and marketing in the life and health reinsurance unit of Swiss Reinsurance Co. in Zurich.
Before that he had been a vice president of marketing for the reinsurance division of Lincoln National Corp. and a vice president of marketing and communications at the Indianapolis-based American States Financial Corp.
