Jackson National Life Insurance Co. said Tuesday that it has strengthened its variable product lineup for advisers with new features and benefits.
The company has added JNL/AIM Real Estate, JNL/Franklin Templeton Small Cap Value, and JNL/Goldman Sachs Mid Cap Value portfolios and the portfolio management companies Franklin Templeton Investments and Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP.
These broaden the fund offerings underlying its variable universal life policies and variable annuity contracts, the insurer said.
For its variable annuity product lineup, led by Perspective II, the company also enhanced its guaranteed minimum income benefit, FutureGuard, so that the 5% roll-up component and the cap of the optional benefit are no longer reduced by certain contract charges. This option is not available in Perspective Advantage.
With more than $61 billion of assets Jackson National is a seller of fixed, fixed index, and variable annuities. It markets its products through independent and regional broker-dealers, financial institutions, and independent insurance agents.
