BOSTON - John Hancock Funds said Tuesday that it would offer online brokerage services to participants in its employee benefit plans.
John Hancock Retirement Services is to offer brokerage services through DLJdirect, the online unit of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. of Jersey City. Clients are to have the ability to trade in stocks and mutual funds, view their accounts online or on wireless devices, and get real-time quotes and news.
