CLEVELAND KeyCorps KeyNext unit has added four suppliers to its KeyProcure online business-to-business marketplace: AFD Contract Furniture, Corporate Software, NeoSafety, and Flowers Online.
A fifth, Corporate Express, has been selling its office supply products on the marketplace, which serves KeyCorps midsize corporate clients, since fall. In the next few months Key plans to add suppliers in the areas of computer hardware, maintenance, repair and operations supplies, and operating resources.
Office furniture, computer software, safety products, and corporate gift-giving are excellent product categories for online sales, and we have aligned ourselves with leading suppliers in each area, said Linda Grandstaff, executive vice president of KeyCorp and chief executive officer of KeyNext.
Currently 120 of Keys middle-market corporate clients are using KeyProcure to buy and sell, and 250 to 300 more are scheduled to begin using it in the next few months.
