Legg Mason Capital Manage-ment, a subsidiary of Legg Mason Inc., announced Wednesday that it had promoted Jay Leopold to senior vice president and portfolio manager of the Baltimore company's all-cap product.
Mr. Leopold joined Legg Mason in 1986 and moved to the capital management unit in 1995. Most recently, he co-managed all-cap separately managed accounts with Bill Miller and Kyle Legg and was also the assistant portfolio manager to David Nelson of the Legg Mason American Leading Cos. Trust mutual fund.
