NSB Holding Corp. in Staten Island, N.Y., announced that Liberty Bank will begin operating as Northfield Savings Bank.
The company said last week that the names, signs, and logos on Liberty's seven branches would be changed by the end of the month and that the branches would be open seven days a week.
The $1.5 billion-asset NSB acquired Liberty in December 2002. Liberty's branches are all in the New Jersey counties of Union and Middlesex. Northfield Savings Bank has 12 branches, all in Staten Island; four of them are open seven days a week.
