In Brief: MainSource of Ind. Names a New CFO

James M. Anderson has been promoted to chief financial officer of the $1.6 billion-asset MainSource Financial Group Inc. of Greensburg, Ind.

Mr. Anderson, 34, has been with MainSource since 2000. He has worked as its corporate controller, its principal accounting officer, and, most recently, an administrative vice president.

Before joining MainSource he had been a financial analyst for Hill-Rom Co. in Batesville. Still earlier he had been the accounting supervisor and a senior financial analyst for Sun Healthcare Group Inc. of Irvine, Calif.

MainSource has two banking units: MainSource Bank in Greensburg and MainSource Bank of Illinois in Kankakee.
