Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. announced Friday that it had promoted Michael Rollings to executive vice president and chief financial officer and chief administrative officer Elaine A. Sarsynski to executive vice president.
Mr. Rollings, 42, formerly a senior vice president and deputy chief financial officer, had been interim chief financial officer since the retirement of executive vice president and CFO Howard Gunton in April. In his permanent role Mr. Rollings is responsible for financial controls and capital resource allocation; he reports to Stuart H. Reese, the Springfield, Mass., insurer's president and CEO.
Ms. Sarsynski, 50, oversees corporate functions including human resources, communications, and community relations. She is also responsible for the strategy implementation office.
Mr. Rollings joined MassMutual in October 2001, heading its capital markets division. Ms. Sarsynski joined MassMutual last July as a managing director of Babson Capital Management LLC.
