MassMutual Retirement Services, a unit of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Springfield, Mass., said Wednesday that it had published a white paper on more effective techniques for retirement planning.
The paper explores trends in retirement saving behavior and offers a program of suggested solutions based on behavioral economics research, the company said. "A Behavioral Approach to Retirement Planning: Automation, Personalization and Engagement" was written by MassMutual's director of behavioral communication and research, Alison Salka, and a vice president, Ian Sheridan.
