Mellon Financial Corp. said Monday that it had promoted two executives in its private wealth management group, Thomas J. Dicker and Jere Doyle, to senior vice president.

Mr. Dicker oversees investment management, trust, and client service activities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and northern Connecticut. He has worked at Mellon since 1987 and held roles in its investment, strategy, sales, and marketing departments.
Mr. Doyle has worked more than 20 years at Mellon, most recently with its portfolio management teams, their clients, and advisers on all aspects of wealth planning.
