In Brief: MetLife Unit Bolsters Distribution in Banks

MetLife Investors Distribution Co. announced that it had hired two wholesalers Monday and promoted a third executive to increase its support of the bank channel.

Leslie Quinn, formerly of Allstate Distributors, was hired to be the regional vice president for mid-California, Reno, and Hawaii. Jeannie Janota joined from Riversource to be the regional vice president for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi. And Digger Rasmussen was promoted to regional vice president for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Ms. Quinn, Ms. Janota, and Mr. Rasmussen report to Myrna F. Solomon, who heads the bank channel for MetLife Investors.
