In Brief: Morgan Pension Duo Hired by Scudder

Scudder Threadneedle Investments hired two J.P. Morgan fund managers to help launch a defined-contribution pension product for the European market early next year.

Mark Stanley and Emma Douglas had joined J.P. Morgan’s London operation two years ago to launch its defined contribution product, which now has $470 million in assets. Ms. Douglas had come from for Fidelity Investment; Mr. Stanley had been a consultant for Hymans Robertson.

Scudder Threadneedle, a unit of Scudder Investments, already manages $30.2 billion of defined-benefit pension assets.
