National City Bank's asset management arm for the ultra-wealthy hired a former Mellon executive Wednesday to be its chief executive officer.
Sterling, a division of National City Bank that provides family office services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, said it had hired David C. Fulton Jr. to succeed Jeffrey M. Biggar, who has retired after 33 years with the Cleveland bank.
Mr. Fulton was a managing director at Mellon private wealth management and vice chairman of Mellon Private Trust Co.
