ATLANTA - NetBank has introduced free electronic bill presentment services through its bill payment partner, CheckFree Holdings Corp.
NetBank's customers can receive and view bills online from 100 billers. According to GartnerGroup of Stamford Conn., bill payment and presentment consumers typically pay $6.50 a month for access to their bills online, but NetBank's customers will be able to access them for free.
Internet-only NetBank hopes the free service will encourage customers to return to its Web site more frequently, said D.R. Grimes, its chief executive officer.
