In Brief: New Name for Prologic Software Firm: Fincentric

VANCOUVER - Prologic Corp., a developer of Internet software for banks and credit unions, has changed its name to Fincentric.

The company says its new name, which went into effect March 15, more accurately reflects its current market position.

The software firm was formed in 1984 to provide PC banking to credit unions. In 1999 it expanded its focus to include global financial institutions.

Fincentric now has 350 customers in 30 countries, including seven of the world's 25 largest banking companies.
