New York Life Insurance Co. announced Wednesday that it had elected Mark E. Arning a senior vice president.
Mr. Arning is to remain the deputy general auditor in the insurer's corporate audit department. He oversees the department, which is responsible for auditing financial operations and affairs of the company and its subsidiaries.
He joined New York Life in 1978 as an assistant auditor and was elected a vice president and associate general auditor in 1996. He was elected a vice president and deputy general auditor in charge of the corporate audit department in June 1997 and elected a first vice president in 2003.
