Community Banks Inc., a Harrisburg, Pa., banking company, announced Monday that it had a definitive agreement to buy Sentry Trust Co. from Omega Financial Corp.

Sentry, a Chambersburg, Pa., company, is to merge into the CommunityBanks unit's trust and asset management division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed; it is expected to close in the third quarter.
The purchase would complement CommunityBanks' expansion this year into Chambersburg, the banking company said.
CommunityBanks operates 73 offices in central and eastern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. In addition to banking services, it offers insurance, investments, trust and asset management, and title and settlement services.
