S&T Bank in Indiana, Pa., said Monday that it has a definitive agreement to buy Holsinger Agency Inc. on Jan. 1.

The agency is to be known as Evergreen Insurance Associates LLC and continue operating from its office in Indiana, Pa.
Evergreen Insurance Associates was founded in 1980 and became a division of S&T Insurance Group LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of S&T Bank, in August 2002. Evergreen Insurance now operates offices in Ebensburg, Greensburg, Altoona, Brookville, and Indiana.
The $3.1 billion-asset S&T Bancorp Inc., operates 50 offices in Allegheny, Armstrong, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson, and Westmoreland counties in west-central Pennsylvania.
