In Brief: Pa.'s Sterling Consolidates 3 Wealth Lines

Three wealth management affiliates of Sterling Financial Corp. in Lancaster, Pa., have been combined under the management of Gregory A. Church in Sterling Investment Services Group, the diversified financial services company said.

Church Capital Management, Bainbridge Securities, and Sterling Financial Trust Co., which was formed in 2002, serve Sterling's customers with investment, trust, and securities brokerage services, the $3 billion-asset company said on Wednesday.

Mr. Church, the founder and chief executive officer of Church Capital Management, will lead the Sterling Investment Services Group and remain CEO of Church Capital.

Mark A. Ritter was named chief executive officer of Sterling Financial Trust Co., and Malinda P. Berardino is to remain chief executive officer of Bainbridge and chief operating officer of Church Capital.

Both Church Capital Management and Bainbridge Securities were founded in 1987 in Yardley, Pa.; they joined Sterling in 2003. With offices in Hanover, Hershey, Lancaster and Yardley, Church Capital has $2.5 billion of assets under administration. Investment representatives are available through the 63 branches of Sterling's seven bank affiliates in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
