Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of Bank of New York Co. Inc., said Monday that it has broadened its focus on registered investment advisers through its repositioned Pershing Advisor Solutions unit.

The unit, previously operated under the name Pershing Investment Manager Services, is to work directly with registered advisers and introduce broker-dealers to offer customized services to both independent and dually registered investment advisers, as well as to large investment managers.
Pershing Advisor Solutions is to help registered advisers with high-quality reporting; access to education, training, and marketing support; and clearing, execution, and custody services.
