Full-year earnings rose 6%, to $6 million, the $442 million-asset company said Friday.

Much of the increase was related to loan and deposit growth in the second half, WGNB said. Loans in the fourth quarter were up 20% from a year earlier, to $356 million, and deposits rose 12%, to $338 million.

It was WGNB's 14th straight year of higher profit.
