In Brief: Putnam Hires Three Institutional Execs

Putnam Investments announced Wednesday that it had added three executives to its institutional investment product teams.

Greg White joined Putnam in December as team leader on the fixed-income investment product team. He worked 17 years at Lehman Brothers where he was a managing director and senior salesman.

Nancy Ward joined Putnam's large-cap U.S. product management team as a senior investment product manager. A 20-year industry veteran, she was hired from GE Asset Management where she was a U.S. equity product portfolio manager.

Emily Kemp was named an investment product manager on the small- and mid-cap investment product team. She joined Putnam in early January from Sanofi-Aventis where she was a sales professional.

Putnam had $192 billion of assets under management at Jan. 31.
