The online payment provider SafePay Solutions Inc. said it has a partnership with MoneyGram International Inc. to offer payment services through the money transmitter's "Express" program at 38,000 U.S. sites.
SafePay, which is based in Reno, said on Monday that it had finished testing its system with MoneyGram and would begin operating this week. In addition to benefiting from the MoneyGram site network, SafePay said, people would benefit from the Minneapolis transmitter's assurance of guaranteed funds within 30 minutes of payment.
Using SafePay, consumers can pay bills online using e-mail address authentication, the company said, and merchants can accept and process batch payments, recurring bills and subscriptions, and other payment types.
