In Brief: Siebel CRM System for Bank of America

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bank of America Corp. has hired Siebel Systems Inc. to develop a customer relationship management system for its retail bank.

The system will provide service reps with more complete views of customers’ relationships with Bank of America, the company said. The reps will be able to view transaction and inquiry histories for all customer accounts, facilitate administrative requests, and track resolution measures.

“Not only will the system enhance our ability to meet their needs, but our customers will have access to a complete view of their relationship at every point they do their banking,” said Gene Taylor, president of consumer and commercial banking at Bank of America.
