WAUSAU, Wis. Wausau Insurances Business Owners Policy package of property and liability insurance for small businesses can now be purchased on eWausaus newly enhanced Web site.
Employers can fill out applications in six to eight minutes, Wausau said. The system chooses standard coverage for the type of business specified; the applicant can accept that coverage or customize it.
Once the application is submitted, Wausaus underwriting system electronically reviews it and provides a quote within one business day, the company said. The small-business owner can then buy the coverage online, with a credit card or other method of payment.
In addition to the fully automated Web site, Wausau, a unit of Liberty Mutual Group of Boston, offers an 800-number customer service call center staffed by agents licensed in all 50 states.
