St. Paul Travelers Cos. announced the rollout Wednesday of an enhanced Select Accounts platform for small commercial insurance.

The platform includes new and expanded products and services intended to make it easier for agents to write more small-business accounts profitably, the company said.
As of June the new products, Master Pac and Pac Plus, are to feature expanded class eligibility with hundreds of new program codes and more embedded coverages.
Select Accounts has redefined its small-business eligibility through an exposure-based definition - including property values, annual receipts, payroll, and type of business - rather than a premium threshold.
