In Brief: SunAmerica Spots Target Baby Boomers

LOS ANGELES — SunAmerica Inc. began airing an series of television commercials Wednesday for its new advertising campaign aimed at baby boomers.

The commercials feature a couple going about their daily life accompanied by “Retirement,” a character in a red T-shirt that bears his name. The message is that the need to protect your retirement plan never goes away.

The retirement savings specialist, a unit of American International Group Inc., provides investment and insurance products and services to nearly two million families.
