Swedbank (Luxembourg) S.A. is to pilot test an Internet-based private banking software program from Financial Objects.
Swedbank is one of 13 banks helping the London-based vendor develop its ActiveBank S2 program.
Rudolf Bolen, senior vice president at Swedbank, said it chose to install and test ActiveBank S2 because of its client/server architecture and Internet capability.
Swedbank will provide detailed input on the new software, a Financial Objects spokeswoman said. ActiveBank S2 is based on Windows NT. Financial Objects' previous program, IBIS, is based on the AS/400 operating system.
