Symetra Financial and the National Brokerage Consortium have announced a partnership to enhance both companies' ability to serve independent insurance agents and advisers.
Symetra said Tuesday that it will begin making life insurance and other products available through the consortium, an independent marketing organization for the insurance industry. The latter is to provide sales support and case development for Symetra through its network of 30 marketing agencies.
Symetra has $20 billion of assets under management. Founded in 1989, the National Brokerage Consortium is a network of professional insurance marketing agencies with nationwide representation.
