Team Financial Inc. in Paola, Kan., has hired former Gold Banc Corp. chief financial officer Rick Tremblay as its chief accounting officer and intends to promote Mr. Tremblay to CFO by year's end.

The $699 million-asset Team announced the hiring in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing after the market closed Monday.
The $4.2 billion-asset Gold was sold in April to Marshall & Ilsley Corp. of Milwaukee for about $700 million.
Team Financial is the holding company for TeamBank and Colorado National Bank. It has 18 branches in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado.
