The banking technology vendor Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. announced Wednesday that it has expanded its check imaging portfolio by buying Community Banking Systems of Dallas.
Both companies market primarily to community banks. Goldleaf said it added 100 customers with the purchase.
Goldleaf, of Brentwood, Tenn., did not say what it spent on the acquisition.
Stephen Curley, who was the chief banking officer at Phoenix-based Western Alliance, will join Maryland-based Eagle Bancorp as president and CEO in July. Eagle's current CEO previously announced plans to retire after the bank racked up big losses in office loans.
