In Brief: Tex.'s TNB in 4 Credit Union Deals

TNB Card Services, a credit and debit card processor and issuer for Texas credit unions, signed new deals with four of its customers to buy and run their credit card portfolios.

The deals, which were announced Sept. 17, are with: Laredo Federal Credit Union, Arlington Federal Credit Union, El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union, and LeTourneau Federal Credit Union.

TNB was set up in 1972 as a division of Town North Bank of Dallas. Three years later a group of credit unions, together with Town North, formed TNB Card Services as an independent company in order to gain membership in MasterCard International and Visa U.S.A.
