Symetra Life Insurance Co. said Tuesday that it has expanded its distribution arrangement with U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc., a unit of the Minneapolis banking company, to add two annuities.
As part of its partnership with U.S. Bancorp Investments and U.S. Bancorp Insurance Services LLC, Symetra added its Custom and Select annuities to the annuity products and term and universal life insurance already being sold through U.S. Bancorp.
The Symetra annuities for fixed-income investors include an annual free withdrawal provision, a guarantee of principal, guaranteed minimum fixed interest rates, and liquidity with tax deferral.
The U.S. Bancorp partnership gives Symetra access to the banking company’s nationwide financial consultant network, Mike Korthaus, a vice president and the managing director of Symetra’s financial institutions distribution, said in a press release.
