USAA Brokerage Services, a division of USAA Investment Management Co., said it is lowering its minimum trading price to the lowest in the industry.
The San Antonio online brokerage firm said Wednesday that is lowering its price for customers who conduct at least 25 or more trades in a 90-day period to as low as $6.95 a trade, from $8. The new rate also applies to traders who execute at least 16 trades in the same period and have at lease $50,000 of eligible assets.
E-Trade Financial Corp. offers a rate of $6.99 a trade to investors who make at least 1,500 stock or options trades a quarter.
