Cardinal Financial Corp. of Tysons Corner, Va., has completed its purchase of Wilson/Bennett Capital Management Inc. in Alexandria.

The deal's completion was announced late Thursday. Cardinal said the addition of the $1.3 billion-asset Wilson/Bennett will let it offer its customers a wide array of asset management services.
Wilson/Bennett has about 500 institutional and personal customers and roughly $225 million of assets under management. Its principal owner, John W. Fisher, has been a member of Cardinal's board since 2002.
