Digital Check Corp. says its check scanners comply with a recently announced set of image-quality guidelines.
The Northfield, Ill., manufacturer said Monday that its TellerScan products adhere to the guidelines introduced by the Financial Services Technology Consortium.
The consortium said this month that it had created a set of test documents that banks and vendors can use to calibrate their systems and determine whether images are usable. Digital Check was one of the participants in the consortium's six-month project.
Tom Anderson, Digital Check's president, said in a press release that his company's scanners "include a number of innovative technologies, above and beyond the standards outlined within the FSTC report, that allow us to produce the clearest image quality possible."
